Dash is a fork of Bitcoin whose main focuse is on the payments use case. It has introduced several features to the industry, including ChainLocks, masternodes, InstantSend, and LLMQs, which target scalability, speed, cost-effectiveness, reliability, & user experience. The network of Dash is also the longest-running decentralized autonomous organization(DAO), utilizing on-chain governance to allocate network resources toward projects and organizations that support the network

Evan Duffield is the creator of Dash, and he is still with the team but in the role of a strategic advisor. The CEO of Dash is Ryan Taylor, and he’s held that position since April 2017. A graduate of Columbia University’s MBA program, Taylor has a long and successful history in the financial services industry, first with McKinsey and later as the owner of his equity research firm. He was the finance 'Director' for Dash

The main reasons to invest in Dash include: 1. The project relies on a network of masternodes, which are servers backed by collateral held in Dash designed to provide advanced services securely and governance over Dash's proposal system. 2. Dash is marketed to both individual users & institutions, financial services, including merchants, traders, & those who need to send international remittances.
